Restoration Volunteer Event @ Fall City Floodplain
Come join the Snoqualmie Tribe’s Habitat Restoration Team as we continue restoring riparian forest habitat on the main stem of the Snoqualmie River in Fall City on February 28th from 10am to 1pm. We will be removing overgrown elk protection and noxious weeds, continuing to build resilience and diversity in a restoration site many years in the making!
Volunteers have assisted with many projects at this site since 2018, and we’re excited to bring you back to the young forest that has grown here since!
Join us to learn about the ecology of the area, how this work connects us to salmon, and see how our work in this important salmon spawning reach is developing!

What to Bring
Tools, gloves, water and snacks will be provided. Personally favored tools are also welcome, as we have run out of tools in the past. Bring your own coffee mug and water bottle to reduce waste and keep your hot beverage hot!
Attire
Layers, rain gear, boots, and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy are recommended. Both rain and sun are common during our events, so be prepared for anything!

Parking will be available onsite on gravel parking pads at the address 33216 WA-202, Fall City, WA 98024 on the north side of WA-202. The event will take place northwest of the parking area in the retired agricultural field. Find the map above for more context and the RSVP link at the top of the page. Gathering RSVP’s help us better prepare for hosting the event.
It’s a new year, which also means signing a new waiver! The Snoqualmie Tribe has an annual waiver that only needs to be signed once per calendar year. Completing a waiver is required before participating in Snoqualmie Tribe volunteer events. Waivers can be found in the event RSVP, as well as in links throughout this page.
