You are invited to join the Snoqualmie Tribe’s Habitat Restoration Team as we restore riparian habitat on the main stem of the Snoqualmie River in Fall City on November 19th from 10am to 2pm. We will be adding more plants to one of our largest floodplain forest plantings to build resilience and diversity to a restoration site years in the making! Some may remember mulching this site before consecutive heat waves over the summer (thank you!). Those plants are doing well, and are ready to have more friends join them in the forest creation journey. Join us to learn about the ecology of the area, how this work connects us to salmon, and participate in some environmental action!
This event will happen rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Rain gear, boots, and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy are recommended. Tools, snacks, and gloves will be provided!
Parking will be available onsite on gravel parking pads at the address 33216 WA-202, Fall City, WA 98024 on the north side of WA-202. The event will take place northwest of the parking area in the large retired agricultural field. See the attached map for more context and sign up below. Knowing how many people might show up helps us prepare for the event.
