Planting at Fall City Natural Area
October 1, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Please join the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe’s Habitat Restoration Team as we restore riparian habitat in the Fall City Natural Area on Saturday, October 1st from 10am to 2pm! We will be planting trees to enhance floodplain forest habitat on the shores of the Snoqualmie River. As these young trees grow into forests, they will help create much needed shade and structure in the floodplain. Come learn about the work the Tribe is doing in the area, how this work connects us to our environment, and enjoy the first of the Fall weather!
Roadside parking is available onsite, and the event will take place in the field on the west side of Neil Road (approximately here). See the attached map for more context.
This event will happen rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Rain gear, boots, and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy or sweaty are recommended. Tools, snacks, and gloves will be provided!
